Snigdha Das

I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University, advised by Dr. Debdeep Pati. Before joining Texas A&M, I completed my master's and bachelor's degrees in statistics at the Department of Statistics, University of Calcutta and St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, respectively.

My research focuses on Bayesian inference and computation under complex data-generating mechanisms. I work at the intersection of Bayesian nonparametrics, selection bias in probability sampling, and deep generative modeling, with an emphasis on valid uncertainty quantification and applications in oral health and biomedicine.

Outside of work, I'm usually in the kitchen trying out new recipes, sketching in my notebook, or watching a movie!
